RAMALLAH, West Bank (AP) — For the first time in two decades, Palestinians in battle-scarred Gaza have a chance to vote in local elections Saturday.

Six months into the Israel-Hamas ceasefire, Palestinians in the Gaza Strip continue living in unsanitary conditions and struggle to rebuild. Mother Ezyia Abu Haya tells NBC News the reality of daily life in Gaza. Matt Bradley reports.
